We are so happy to show some of the fantastic work from Davide Salvadori, a.k.a. Grizzly Airbrush. He is based in Bardolino, which is located on the eastern shore of Lake Garda in the beautiful province of Verona (Italy).
Davide is a professional Airbrush Scholar who began back in 2015 (with years of practice and experiments with other painting techniques), after finding an old airbrush belonging to his father in the garage. After some bad purchases and after some failures, he participated in a course, held by Maestro Salvatore Cosentino, one of his reference artists, who in addition to having passed on to him the love for airbrushing, has become a great friend to Davide with whom he shares this passion.
His airbrushes, combined with this type of support, opened up a new world. One of his biggest collaborations is with 3A Sport, Italian distributor for Nike, Converse and the Haddad brand (worldwide licensee for Jordan). This lead Davide to think that his goal for his career is to become a reference point for the world of custom on sneakers, nothing could be more wrong! In fact, what he intends to do is to become an airbrusher: his technique is always the same, but combined with different and more particular supports. His style is purely realistic, where he tries for each work not only to create a beautiful work, but to give it a meaning, a story, a sense!

Davide uses Iwata airbrushes (mainly CM 0.18 and Eclipse 0.35), a leading brand in the sector, and precision, components, ergonomics and ease of use even prolonged make it his choice par excellence, he also uses a Harder & Steenbeck Infinity 0.15. For the colors Createx Illustration and Wicked, then combined with Angelus for clothing and Alpha6 for some Pinstriping that Davide delights in performing every now and then!

Davide believes that “It is not easy to succeed in a sector that has great strides, where you find many talented artists. My advice is always to give your best, but above all to experiment, to make unique and original works and never sell out, talent has a value and it is right that it is recognized!”
